LAST RITES FOR MISS EMMA
The only goof in this well choreographed fight scene was Mike's uncooperative sportscoat that flew up to reveal the protective tailbone pad

THE DANFORD FILE
In the opening scene, Joe shows up at a party. He parks his car and gets out. We see him wearing a blue jacket, tan slacks, light shirt and a silver tie with a small dot pattern (at least it seemed silver in the "moonlight"). Anyway, a few seconds later, he walks into the party wearing a navy pinstriped suit, light shirt and a blue diagonal striped tie. Wow - even Superman doesn't change that fast!

DEATH IN A MINOR KEY
Our man Joe is shot in the hand chasing a suspect. He next shows up at the police station wearing a rather large bandage on his right hand. He then follows a lead to a classic car restoration/repair shop where he quizzes a guy who works there. But, OOPS, there's no bandage. Not only that, but he uses that hand to reach into the guy's bag of seeds. Next scene the bandage is back. Ah, the perils of shooting out of sequence!

A CHOICE OF EVILS
The opening scene has Joe pulling up to the office in the rain. He's driving the '71 Barracuda. But in the last alley scene overhead shots and the Pacific Coast Highway phone-at-ear shot, he is cruisin' in the '69 Dart. (Well, at least we know he didn't sell it!)

THE OTHER GAME IN TOWN
When the bad guy is shot at the zoo, he appears to be hit in the left shoulder. When Joe turns him over we can see the watch is on his right hand. Later, while being interrogated at Joe's office (highly irregular!), his right arm is in a sling and the watch is on his left wrist. Someone either "flopped" this in original production, or the 16mm print had been cut and pasted wrong.

HARVEST OF DEATH
The crop-dusting biplane Dave Winters is flying when he crashes is silver and black with yellow trim. The wreckage is that of a white and yellow plane.

In this same episode Joe is knocked out and dragged into his motel room, where he comes to on the royal blue carpet. He gets up and walks a few steps to the door. The carpet has changed to dark gold!

THE GLASS TRAP
In the downhill chase shots the 'Cuda has a big scratch on the driver's side door which disappears and reappears. And the pursuing silver Chrysler with black vinyl top turns into a white sedan and back again! (Now we know where they got the idea for VIPER!)

THE SOUND OF DARKNESS
When the bad guy breaks in to get Joe in the final part of the episode. Joe quickly turns out the lights to level the playing field. The hitman fumbles around in the dark and knocks over a stand with the fire place tools. Joe reacts to this and fires a shot into the wall above his head. The hit man returns fire and breaks a small statue on the table. Joe then grabs a lamp and gives it a toss to distract the hit man so he can make his way up the stairs. Several more shots are exchanged before Joe finally gets his man and his sight back. Here's the problem...when Joe turns on the lights and takes a long, relieved look around the apartment there are no bullet holes or any evidence that a scuffle has just taken place.
Wow, does he know how to pick cleaning ladies or what!

BLOOP-ettes

In WAR OF NERVES the sorrel Tennessee Walking Horse the girl rides out of the paddock is not the same one she is riding when she happens upon the bad guys. (The second horse had been taught to rear.)

In ONLY ONE DEATH TO A CUSTOMER, not only do they use the stock footage of the blue Porsche going down a cliff again, but a photo of the wreckage Joe holds in the warden's office is not a blue car. It's the same photo of an old white car that went down the cliff in RETURN TO SUMMER GROVE. ( NOT the Plymouth he was driving!) Are we confused now?

THE NOWHERE VICTIM: The mobster punches only 5 numbers into the phone and gets through!

MASK FOR A CHARADE: In the saloon fight, Joe goes down well away from fallen divider, then gets to his feet atop it.

In CLIMB A DEADLY MOUNTAIN Luke says he is from "Eastern Tennessee." All natives use the term EAST Tennessee. And those were nice white grapes they were eating-nothing at all like currants!

Joe is chased downhill in COLD TRAIL yet again by two thugs in a Coronet. This time, though, the bad guys go over the cliff. The car that takes the big dive and explodes in flames is NOT the 1971 Coronet, however. And the bullet graze in the flank of the 'Cuda turns into a bullet hole in the wheel well by next scene!

In FEAR I TO FALL Joe is shot in one place in the arm and bandaged at another.

In BABE IN THE WOODS the downhill car chase sequence (tow-behind shots) features the hood of the 'Cuda popped up a couple of inches, perhaps to allow for a camera harness.

The black unmarked police car Joe and Art are racing to the crime scene in OVERKILL is a mid-sixties Dodge. The one they arrive in is a 1970 Dodge Coronet!

When serving Joe coffee at his desk in THE GLASS TRAP, Peggy runs her hand down the side of the pot and rests it on the bottom. OUCH! (Or have we uncovered the problem with her coffee?)

In MEMORY:ZERO when Martell is arrested by the cops at the end, they march him off through the door leading to the BASEMENT!

In A CHANCE AT THE ROSES during Peggy's scene with Marge, the Corning Ware pot just disappears!

THE INSIDE MAN: Opening shots supposedly made from police car roof are shot from atop a van. In sailboat scenes of Miami, HILLS are seen in background shots!

MOVING TARGET: Watch the car chase. The 'Cuda is dented in the driver's side door by a Coronet attempting to force it off the road. When it smashes into the dirt bank, that dent has moved a foot behind the door.

LIFELINE: Doctors are waiting on AB+ blood to save wounded man's life, and Joe volunteers his. AB+ blood type is "universal recipient"--patients can take any type of blood in an emergency.

THE GANG'S ALL HERE: In the insert shot when young tow-headed Arlie turns the gun up to see his father's initials on the grip, the hand holding the gun is a meaty, mature one with dark hair!

THE JUDAS TOUCH: Watch the nurse taking the blood pressure of patient. She not only isn't using a stethescope, but is looking at the watch around her neck...while she pumps up the cuff a little more..and a little more. And the second nurse peers worriedly at the gauge!

A QUESTION OF MIDNIGHT: In the opening scene the former doctor prepares a lifesaving injection for a small boy. In the close-up of the of the shot being given there is an air bubble in the syringe - OOPS.
